Three days of world class racing and fabulous fashion! Join us at the July Festival, as the eyes of the world descend on the picturesque July Course.
Three days of world class horseracing are paired with unrivalled fashion, food and entertainment to give racing fans of all ages a day out to remember. Running from Thursday to Saturday, starting with Ladies Day on 13 July, followed by Festival Friday on 14 July and closing with July Cup Day on Saturday 15 July.
The festival is packed full of Group racing, with the feature race the Group One July Cup on the Saturday. Run over six furlongs, the July Cup is one of the most valuable and prestigious sprint races in the world and horses often travel from Australia and America to stake their claim.

Thursday 13th July – Ladies Day Limited Availability
Ladies Day at Newmarket is the hottest ticket of the summer. Visitors come from far and wide to enjoy the thrilling racing, epic entertainment and of course fabulous fashion.
The action packed seven-race card is headlined by the Group Two Princess of Wales’s Stakes over a mile and a half and boasts some high profile previous winners.

Friday 14th July – Festival Friday
Festival Friday is headlined by a top level contest in the form of the Group One Tattersalls Falmouth Stakes for fillies and mares over a mile. The race offers the first high profile opportunity for the top three year old fillies to test themselves against older rivals and is regularly one to savour.

Saturday 15th July – July Cup Day
The final day of The July Festival is all about the July Cup. This Group 1 Race is one of the most valuable and prestigious sprint races in the world and the winner is often acknowledged to be the best sprinter in Europe.
