We enjoyed a fantastic morning at our most recent stable visit yesterday, with Chris Wall, in the glorious sunshine.
We were all eagerly looking forward to seeing our 4yo son of Territories, Mustazeed, who is like so many horses at present, desperate to see some rain after a delayed start to his season. He has been given a bit of time to recover after a setback but is now very much back on track to return to the racecourse very soon. It was lovely for Owners and Members to see him storm up the hill (see below), looking fit and well and very happy in himself.
Whilst out on Warren Hill, we were also fortunate enough to see a couple of the other Newmarket Racing Club horses out in their exercise whilst on the hill, including our ‘king of the hill’, Balgair, trained by Tom Clover, and our 2yo filly, Churchill Rose, trained by Charlie Fellowes, who will be soon to make her racing debut.
We then returned to Chris Wall’s yard, Induna Stables, where we chatted with Chris whilst Mustazeed received plenty of fuss.
Thank you to all who joined us for the morning, and a very special thank you to Chris, Carole, and the brilliant Induna Stables team.
We look forward to our next, and indeed to Mustazeed’s return to the track!
