By Komaite (USA) ex Rion River (IRE) (Taufan(USA))

Three time winner by Komaite.

Another named after one of the characters in the Friends sitcom series and became a real friend to us. Took a little while to find her feet as a 2yo but it was the ground that was the key to her, like many by this sire. She was aimed at a nursery handicap at Goodwood and duly obliged in a big field, significantly, on bottomless ground and landing a gamble for the owners. Aimed, as a three year old, at the Esher Cup, she was absolutely cherry ripe for that event, when it used to be run on the same card as the Whitbread and with heavy rain forecast we were rubbing our hands together only for the Sandown executive to abandon the fixture after the big chase had been run. She gained adequate, if not as prestigious compensation, the following week when finding a nice handicap at Kempton Park (when they raced on the grass), again on soft,  winning very well. She won again on Winter Hill day at Windsor and was subsequently sold for breeding. She produced Erica Bing, who kept up the Friends theme, and the family name, another  three time winner.
