The Jewel in the Crown
Considered one of the most charming and unique racecourses in the world, The July Course is a more intimate, relaxed venue providing a convivial atmosphere and offering a terrific opportunity to get up-close-and-personal with the horses, trainers and jockeys during the summer months.
The Bunbury Mile
Often referred to as the Summer Course, it has a one mile straight, known as ‘The Bunbury Mile’ and features a long downhill stretch before a stiff final furlong climb to the finish in front of its traditional 19th century grandstands and the original thatched weighing room.
Champagne lawns, al fresco restaurants and bars adorn the racecourse while on the other side of the track are a series of welcoming hospitality chalets mingling with the cooling shade of the sun-dappled trees, providing racegoers with an exhilarating ‘closer-to-the-action’ view of the sport.
