By Acclamation ex Emma’s Star (ITY) (Darshaan)

Well related, ten-time winner by top sire, Acclamation.

Bought for 28,000 guineas as a yearling, who was a half brother to prolific winners, Highland Colori, Hazelrigg, and Sprint Cup (Group One) placed, Genki, he was a big backward type who didn’t fill his frame until turning three. Brought along steadily, he was ready to strike when winning a 3yo handicap at Sandown Park beating  the John Gosden  trained, Negotiation. Although winning ten times in all, that was his only success on turf as he was a much better horse on the consistent surface he found on the all weather. Subsequently won at all four of the all weather tracks he ran at and a real gentleman, now happy in retirement. A joy to own.
