Mustazeed finished a gallant third in the 10f handicap at the end of the Eclipse card at Sandown on Saturday!
Our 3yo, son of Territories, provided a day full of excitement for Owners on Coral-Eclipse Day at Sandown Park Racecourse. Trained by Chris Wall, and with Martin Dwyer aboard, we were hopeful of a nice run from Mustazeed, and he certainly delivered, albeit a little unlucky during the race meeting some trouble, ultimately finishing third, narrowly beaten for second and just 3 ¼ lengths from HM The Queen’s winner, Wink Of An Eye.
The Racing Post reported;
“Mustazeed, up 8lb for beating a subsequent scorer at Yarmouth, can have his effort upgraded as he blew the start and then met trouble in the run. He’d have finished second otherwise and maybe even given the winner something to think about. Compensation awaits.”
Mustazeed did his Owners proud yesterday, and we are all very much looking forward to his next start with relish!
